GREENSBORO, NC — Linder Industrial Machinery recently held open houses for its two newest branches in Greensboro and Fayetteville, North Carolina. Linder has a total of 18 branches, seven in North Carolina, four in South Carolina, and the remainder in Florida.

The Greensboro facility was built to support the northern part of the state and provide service for customers in outlying areas. The dual-purpose facility supports both the earthmoving and road building business and the turf and tractor division of Linder.

“We couldn't be more pleased to be here and to be in business to serve our clients,” said John Coughlin, President and CEO. “We have designed the facility to give focus to each of the products and better service, better parts, and faster response to take care of our customers."

The 29,000-square-foot facility includes a parts department, 10 service bays, an equipment wash unit, and quick fill lube system. The Greensboro facility is also home to two lubrication trucks and seven service vehicles that can assist in the field.

The Linder Turf & Tractor location in Fayetteville was acquired in late 2023 from Cumberland Tractor, a Kubota dealer with a long history in the area. Linder is expanding the facility with four new equipment service bays, a new equipment wash bay, six additional acres of equipment storage, and an additional double-height warehouse to accommodate the earthmoving and road building equipment lines.

“I can’t tell you how great it feels to be part of the Fayetteville community,” Coughlin said. “We’re going to be participating in forestry, construction, road building, [and] agriculture. We’re going to grow this facility substantially.”

Fayetteville Branch Manager Charlie Horn is bringing continuity to the transition. “I grew up in the business learning from my father and my grandfather, and we hope to continue to provide the same customer service as we always did,” he said.
